The 2017 Kitesurf season is now upon us. Cabrinha have released their anticipated 2017 Kites, and we’ve had a first hand look at them. Today, we’ll be running you through the tech specs and differences between the old and the new.

2017 Cabrinha FX:�

Everyone’s favourite Freestyle/Crossover kite is back for 2017, with a revamped design. It’s ability to perform in the low-end make it the go-to kite for any lightwind session. The Contra will certainly lighten up the windless days, it’s freeride capabilities make it the perfect kite for light-wind sessions and for freeriding.

2017 Cabrinha Chaos:

2017-Cabrinha-ChaosThe Chaos kite is the high end technically performing kite in Cabrinha’s range, with many rider’s such as James Boulders choosing the kite for it’s freestyle design. The 6 Line Chaos 1X bar is a must, as it’s the only bar the kite will work with. This 6-Line Design uses the 2 extra lines as an arc support system, making the kite much more stable and powerful during kiteloops.
