Learn to Kitesurf and Wing with S2AS – The Lowdown

At S2AS we have been teaching kitesurfing for over 15 years and we pride ourselves on a delivering a quality learning experience. We are extremely lucky to have some of the most popular wind sport locations in our backyard, one being Poole harbour. The S2AS school teaches to both the BKSA and IKO schemes which are globally recognised. This year we intend to continue our kitesurfing tuition, plus we will be delivering winging courses for those wanting to try out or develop their skills in this new and growing wind sport!

What we offer?

The S2AS school offers both wing and kitesurf lessons:

Kitesurfing Lessons

We offer a wide range of kitesurf courses from complete beginner groups right through to advanced coaching.

For a complete beginner we would recommend our 2 day course (£169)

For those with previous experience we would recommend booking a 2 hour private lesson (£90)

Winging Lessons

We offer introductory wing courses (£70) for those that want to give the sport a try or develop their skills handling the wing and wingsurfing

What to Expect?

We teach in Poole harbour, which is the second largest natural harbour in the world, this provides us with perfect conditions for Kitesurfing lessons right on our doorstep. Poole Harbour is 300 meters of waist deep water so that you can never get out of your depth, offering a solid platform for learning to kitesurf or wing.

We provide all equipment for our lessons but you will need to bring swim wear and a towel. If you already have any of your own equipment, feel free to bring it along.

Our lessons begin by meeting at our shop base at Ashley Cross where we will kit you up and brief you ready for your lesson:

About:

Board sports have been my main obsession from a young age and still am today, I kitesurf, Wing foil, Wakeboard, Snowboard and skateboard.

I have been teaching kitesurfing for several years now and this is my second-year teaching with S2AS. I love instructing for the spreading of joy that I find in the sport and seeing people progress and helping them on their journey. We have wingfoiling last summer and have now become a qualified instructor to teach this new and growing sport which I look forward to doing this summer with S2AS.

About:

I have been in the kitesurf industry since the beginning. Started kitesurfing in 2002 and my IKO instructor licence in 2007.

I was teaching ever since. Did my seasons non stop for 10 years and been working in Australia, Brazil, South Africa and Asia.

And of course the best kitesurf spots in Europe.

Now settled down in Poole with my wife and dog, with Poole harbour as my favourite ocean playground. Been everywhere in the world, Poole is definitely one of the best kitesurf locations you will find.
