North Navigator Bar and Lines
"It has a really natural fit and grip that feels almost like the bar is holding on to you, even in super powered conditions" - Nick Jacobson
Redesigning Kitesurfing equipment from the ground up is no easy task, but North Kiteboarding's Director of Design Hugh Pinfold was insisted that in the last 10years the kite industry has over complicated equipment by constantly adding features and parts to improve functionality, when really; simplicity is key!
38-43cm size kitesuf bar allows the rider to really fine tune the turning speed of their kite from the smallest 5m to 12m kite.
The tactile finger bar is built with an ergonomic design to make steering a fully intuitive experience almost like the kite becomes an extension of your hands. While the lines are 100% Dyneema SK99 for their incredible durability and stretch resistance.
The true R&D of the new North Navigator Bar comes in its Connect Quick Release system, taking 15years of innovation and development North have created a new system that is not only intuitive but has set a new industry standard for safety. The Red Quick Release handle fits perfectly in the hand and pushes away easily for a quick and smooth release in away conditions thanks to the low-friction coefficient materials. Furthermore, the patented re-Connect system is designed to reconnect from any angle, by simply pushing the loop in the correct vicinity, its a system so simple it can even be done with one hand no fiddly pins to move or handles to lift, North's primary concern is safety allowing riders to reconnect their safely and quickly after having released can add vital seconds while still being throw around by the water can make all the difference needed!
Lastly, the new Toolless Interloop system allows riders to quickly adapt the bar to the varying disciplines of kitesurfing, simply Push, Twist, Pull, Lock and GO! Whilst the LockGaurd safety ring with pull tab ensures against accidental release of the quickloop.
