We’re heading to the iconic southern coast of Spain, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Tarifa is world-famous for its strong and consistent wind, vibrant local scene, and endless beaches. The town has long been a mecca for kitesurfers, offering a variety of spots that range from beginner-friendly lagoons to full-on wave action for the more advanced.

At Surface2Air, we make it our mission to travel to the best kite destinations during their peak seasons. October in Tarifa is ideal: the massive summer crowds have faded, but the Levante and Poniente winds are still blowing strong. Expect warm days in the low to mid 20s°C, solid wind conditions, and sessions that stretch well into golden sunsets.

What Kite Sizes to Bring:

For an average 80kg rider, 7m–12m kites are ideal

The Levante (strong easterly) often means smaller kites; Poniente (milder westerly) days call for 9m–12m

We also offer kite rental for the week, so if you’re unsure about sizing, just let us know in advance and we’ll get you fully set up
Delivery & Shipping Policy
Dispatch
- Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days after payment is received.

- UK orders are shipped using FedEx and Royal Mail.

Receiving Your Order
When your order arrives, please:
- Check the package for any visible damage before accepting your delivery.
- Ensure all items listed in your order are included.
- Notify us promptly at Info@s2as.com if your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.
- Keep all packaging until you are satisfied your order is complete and in good condition.
Delays & Issues
- Surface 2 Air Sports is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events beyond our control.
- We are not responsible for delays or loss caused by incorrect delivery information provided at checkout.
Refund & Returns Policy

Returns
You must notify Surface 2 Air Sports of your intent to return an item within 14 days of the order date.
To initiate a return, please email Info@s2as.com within this 14-day period. Once we receive your request, we will email you return instructions and a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
Approved returns must be shipped back to us within 30 days of the order date.
Return eligibility
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
- A valid Return Authorisation (RA) number must be included with your return.
Return shipping
All returns must be sent back to us at the buyer’s cost. We do not provide prepaid return labels, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Returns requested after 14 days from the order date, items shipped after 30 days from the order date, or returns sent without an RA number may not be accepted.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. A 2% refund processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Price Match
At Surface 2 Air Sports (S2AS), we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between the best price and the best service. If you find the same product cheaper elsewhere from an authorised UK retailer — we’ll match it.
