The Force comes with Union's Stage 9 Duraflex ST Base, which has a lightweight, bombproof construction combined with a 3D extruded aluminium heel cup that completes this indestructible base. Duraflex offers a stiffer base with a Molecular Bushing Suspension system, which provides the response you need for a comfortable and dampened ride. This means you can go bigger and harder than before with total confidence. Union is so confident that it can't be broken, they offer a lifetime warranty on the base and heel cup.
The Force Duraflex ST Highback is the most iconic part of these bindings. The Force highback is a classic design featuring a stiffer portion at the bottom of the highback, allowing for precise turns. The top of the highback, in contrast, features a softer, more comfortable section, making presses and tweaks easier. This is the reason why the force highback has not been redefined and has stood the test of time.
The Union has upgraded the Force's straps to the ExoFrame 6.0 at the ankle and the TS 5.0 Forcegrip at the toe for even more durability and responsiveness. Union doesn't stop there; to top it off, these bindings use durable injected magnesium buckles, which are lighter and stronger than traditional aluminium parts.

We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders within 1 working day (Monday–Friday, excluding Bank Holidays).
Free UK Mainland Delivery on orders over £30
- Orders placed before 2pm are dispatched same day where possible
- Orders placed after 2pm are dispatched the next working day
- Orders placed after 2pm Friday or over the weekend ship on Monday
- Orders under £30 are charged £3.95
Oversized & Remote Areas
- Large items (e.g. surfboards, sit-on-top kayaks): £19.95
- Some UK postcodes (Highlands & Islands) incur a £15 surcharge
International Delivery
- EU delivery from £20 (3–7 working days)

Returns FAQs
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Yes. You can return your order within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging and tags intact.
How do I start a return?
Email info@s2as.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll reply with return instructions.
How long do I have to return an item?
Let us know if you would like to return your item within 14 days. Once you’ve notified us (within 14 days), you have a further 14 days to return the item, so 28 days in total.
Do I need to pay for return postage?
Yes. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Will I get a refund for the original delivery cost?
Original delivery costs are non-refundable for unwanted items. Faulty or incorrect items will receive a full refund including original delivery costs.
What if my item is faulty or damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible with photos. If confirmed faulty, we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 5 working days of us receiving and inspecting the return. Banks may take additional time to show the funds.
What if my return is lost in transit?
Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until received by us. We recommend using a tracked service.
Can I exchange an item?
Yes. Let us know when you contact us and we’ll do our best to arrange an exchange.
