The all new design of last year has been further developed through the use of Apex materials to allow the rider to explore the feeling of a three strut kite, but with the support and confidence that a five strut kite can offer.
The introduction of Ultra HT to the Switchblade really allowed Pat Goodman and the design team to tweak out that extra response that he always knew was there on this kite.
No matter what style of riding you do, on what ever type of board, the new Switchblade is as predictable as ever, giving you the confidence to enjoy Mother Natures best qualities without worrying about what the kite is doing.

Key Features
Developed exclusively for kite leading edges, this is a strong, stable, and exceptionally responsive material. Ultra HT reduces the weight of the leading edge and struts while boasting incredibly low elongation and response. A unique and proprietary coating process increases durability and performance unlike anything you have felt before.
Engineered to provide a lightweight material with exceptional bias control and recovery, the Teijin D2 Material works hand in hand with the Ultra HT material on the Apex kites to provide the next level in performance and reactivity.
These new Durable TPU bumpers are strong, lightweight and durable. They crossover protecting the canopy to LE sewing. A new manufacturing process helps with abrasion when the kite is resting on a hard surface.
The Sprint 3.0 inflation system increases air flow from leading edge to the strut. The straight and angled valves allow for no kinking of the inflation tube. It's secure fit design also allows for easy maintenance.
Low elongation, high performing, and user friendly these bridles are the perfect blend of performance and functionality.
An all NEW stylish expanding backpack allows for fast pack down and comfy transportation of your kite, pump and control system. Easily Expands to carry multiple kites in one bag leading to more adventure and less faff!
DNA is the genetic chain that defines who or what we are. When redesigning the kite we made sure that one of the DNA stands came from the Switchblade while the other is a new updated twist based on the findings from the Design Works team.

Dispatch

Receiving Your Order
When your order arrives, please:

Refund & Returns Policy

Returns
You must notify Surface 2 Air Sports of your intent to return an item within 14 days of the order date.
To initiate a return, please email Info@s2as.com within this 14-day period. Once we receive your request, we will email you return instructions and a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
Approved returns must be shipped back to us within 30 days of the order date.
Return eligibility
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
- A valid Return Authorisation (RA) number must be included with your return.
Return shipping
All returns must be sent back to us at the buyer’s cost. We do not provide prepaid return labels, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Returns requested after 14 days from the order date, items shipped after 30 days from the order date, or returns sent without an RA number may not be accepted.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. A 2% refund processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
