Lo Stagnone's immense shallow flat water lagoon is a paradise for kitesurfers of all levels, with unlimited space and safety for both beginners and advanced riders.
Nestled in western Sicily, the lagoon's strategic location ensures consistent wind patterns, ideal for perfecting your kitesurfing skills. Its sandy bottom and vast area provide a secure environment to learn and practice, while experienced riders can unleash their creativity and push their boundaries.
July is the ultimate time to experience the thrill of kitesurfing in Lo Stagnone, with optimal wind conditions and warm temperatures.
In the Mediterranean sun, riders can enjoy temperatures ranging from 25 to 35 degrees, creating the perfect conditions for riding in just board shorts!
Beyond the adrenaline rush of kitesurfing, participants can indulge in the delights of Sicilian cuisine and sample the region's renowned wines, adding a flavorful touch to this kitesurfing adventure.

In the evening, we also like to go to the nearby towns of San Leonardo, Marsala and Trapani to share with you what all the local restaurants and bars have to offer. Food and drinks in Sicily are some of the most renowned and beloved in the world and relatively affordable.
KITE SIZES AND CONDITIONS IN SICILY:
An intermediate male adult (80kg) ideally needs 9qm – 12qm. Most often you will need a 9m kite. Look at the wind forecast for Lo Stagnone kitesurfing spot a few days before departure to bring the right size kite.
Equipment rental of all sizes at preferential rates for our participants is also possible on the spot, depending on availabilty.
The immense lagoon of Lo Stagnone provides the flattest water you have ever seen, and never deeper than knees to chest height. Hydro-foiling or wave riding is also possible in deeper water outside of the lagoon.
