The Nubo is Shinn's no-compromise Wing foil board that combines performance and accessibility in a range of 4 sizes to suit all riders and conditions.
Designed around the Compact Board Concept that minimizes un-needed length and width in favour of rider friendly thickness, the volume has been carefully distributed to make starting effortless even in the lightest of winds. Insanely easy to release from the water the unique base channel combined with hard edged rails and a flatter tail rocker ensure you’re flying whilst others are still pumping.
The concave deck shaping lowers Nubo's centre of gravity to increasing foiling stability and surrounds the full-cover deckpad. Developed with an EPS / carbon/glass-biax construction, the Nubo delivers a strong yet lightweight construction.
The Nubo has inserts for 1, 2 or 3 strap settings and a base mounted carry to handle to ensure getting in and out of the water is as easy as riding the board.
Features:
– Construction: At the heart of the Nubo is a CNC shaped, light-weight EPS foam core laminated with a combination of Carbon and Glass fibre Biax layers ensuring a stiff, light and durable foilboard. The industry standard 90mm spaced foil tracks are embedded in high-density PVC foam and carbon ensuring their strength and rigidity is integral.
– Rocker: Featuring enough nose lift to recover from inadvertent touch downs the Nubo rocker is optimised to maximise waterline length, essential in achieving take off speed with light winds and small wings. A slight tail kick makes it easier to kick the board up onto the foil without the reduction of volume in the rear of the board that radical cut-aways create.
– Balanced Volume distribution: A carefully implemented volume distribution is essential in providing a stable and easy starting platform together with balanced riding when not on the foil. The chopped nose of the Compact Board Concept ensure the minimum possible length without compromising the boards volume and also helps recover faster from accidental touchdowns.
– Base channel: A pronounced channel is featured through the base on all the boards in the Nubo range. Forcing air under and along the board reduces the stiction effect of the waters surface allowing for both easier acceleration and faster take-offs.
– Footstrap options: Featuring multiple options all sizes of the Nubo can be set up with one, 2 or 3 strap arrangements. A variety of stance widths (2 positions on the front straps and 4 on the rear) ensure every riders stance can be accommodated. We’ve used M6 machine screw inserts ensuring a tight and strong connection that won’t wear out no matter how many times you put the straps on and off the board. Don’t like to use straps? The Nubo can be ridden strapless too.
– Foil Scale: Ensure your set up is perfectly tuned for every session and set of conditions. Foil position is one of the most critical aspects to ensure you are in control and can extract the maximum performance from your gear and our scale allows you to dial it in exactly time and time again.

Deliveries & Returns S2AS
At Surface 2 Air Sports we want you to enjoy your purchases as soon as possible, which means we strive to dispatch your order within one working day of it being placed (subject to payment authorisation and stock availability). If there is going to be a delay for any reason, we’ll let you know as soon as we can.
FREE UK MAINLAND SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS OVER £30
- If you order before 2 pm, Monday to Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays) and we have your items in stock, we'll dispatch the same day for FREE NEXT DAY SHIPPING (Where Possible)
- If you order after 2 pm, we'll still try to dispatch it that day. If we can't, we'll dispatch it on the next working day.
- Items ordered after 2 pm Friday or over a weekend will be dispatched on Monday.
- Items dispatched on Friday are for delivery the following week.
- Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be dispatched the next working day.
- Free Next Day (Where Possible)UK mainland shipping on all orders over £30. Orders below £30 will be £3.95

OUTSIDE OF THE UK MAINLAND
- Shipping to most EU countries is calculated at £20 and can take around 5-7 working days
- Shipping outside the EU is calculated at £35 and can take around 5-12 working days
- S2AS reserve the right to amend shipping costs based on the volumetric weight of the parcel and the destination country
- Please be aware that you may be liable for import taxes when you receive the item in your destination. This may vary by country (as a guide, the UK VAT rate is 20%). You must understand and budget for any import taxes that may be applicable. Surface 2 Air Sports is not responsible for these charges, and if they are due, you should be contacted by your customs office.
- Unfortunately, if S2AS send an item out and it is then rejected by the customer due to these import charges, you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to S2AS, minus the total shipping and returns costs.
- Exchange rates vary constantly; therefore, we cannot guarantee the price of an item in any other currency except GBP. All other currencies are approximate. The money taken from your account will be in GBP, you must check with your bank as to how it will come out of your account.
- * For any orders leaving the UK, no UK VAT will be charged, and as a result, the price you see on the website should exclude VAT.
www.s2as.com stock levels are constantly updated to maintain live stock levels, but demand can sometimes be high, and we occasionally run out of popular items.
Due to the constant rotation of our stock, some items may currently be on backorder and as such, delivery can be delayed by up to 7 days. If this is the case, please feel free to call us for further information.
Our standard couriers are DHL, Royal Mail, DX Freight & APC.
All orders are shipped within 24hrs Delivery is Monday–Friday (depending on stock). If no one is home, a courier will leave details of the next delivery attempt and the contact number of the local depot. If you would like your order to be “left safe” on your property should no one be home, please specify details in the comments as you check out. (S2AS take no responsibility for order requests to be left in a "Safe place"
The delivery charge for orders outside of mainland UK is calculated on the volumetric weight of the items and the destination country.

Upon delivery, please check that all items have not been damaged in transit before you sign for them. If any damage is visible, please ensure you sign as "Damaged" and you have with right to refuse and ask that they be returned to the sender. If you cannot thoroughly check the goods, please sign for them as ‘unchecked’.You must inspect and confirm that the goods are in good condition before signing. If the goods are damaged and not signed for as such, Surface 2 Air Sports cannot accept any liability, and the item will not be replaced or reimbursed.
RETURNS
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you have 14 days from the purchase date to make us aware you wish to return the order and we will send you a returns form via your email address, And a further 14 days to return the item(s) to S2AS in their original condition with the packaging and tags intact for a refund.
Transaction Fees on Refunds
Please note that all refunds will be processed for the full product amount minus any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred at the time of purchase.
These fees (typically 1.6% of the order total) are charged to us by the payment provider and are not returned when a transaction is refunded. As such, this amount will be deducted from your refund.
Example:
If you purchase a product for £100 and request a refund, your refunded amount will be £98.40 (i.e. £100 minus the 1.6% processing fee of £1.60).
We recommend reviewing your order carefully before completing your purchase.
Please bear in mind that items that are "not wanted" or ordered in customer error (i.e. wrong size/colour) will not be refunded postage costs.
When returning items please place a note inside the parcel(s), with your Name, Contact Number, Order Number, the reason for the return (i.e. wrong size, not matching item description, etc.) and whether you wish for a refund or to exchange for a different item(s), S2AS cannot be held responsible for any delays in regards to returns without this information enclosed.
Please note that if goods are not returned in the condition in which you received them, we reserve the right to refuse such returns.
Any item returned to us is at your own risk and cost. Please note that we will not be liable for any loss or damage to any returned items in transit, and products remain your responsibility and property until we receive them. If returned items are lost or damaged in transit, we will have to charge you (or not refund any amounts attributable to) such loss or damage. Please send any item(s) you intend to return in the original packaging.
