Who is it for?
Choose this model when lift, hangtime and efficient flight are at the centre of your riding, and the response of a lightweight, stiff airframe matters to you. It is the premium Edge option for riders ready to invest in their big-air progression.
What makes it different?
- Full ALUULA frame: 82g material in the leading edge and struts combines stiffness with low weight.
- Five-strut support: The stable platform retains the distinctive Edge focus on lift and hangtime.
- Lightweight canopy: 46g Teijin double-ripstop material reduces canopy weight.
- Slimmer leading edge: ALUULA stiffness allows a further diameter reduction compared with the standard VT.
- Updated bridle and tension: A 16-point bridle and revised sail tension support direct feedback and efficient flight.

Is this the same kite as the standard Edge VT?
They share a design base, but the Ultra-X uses an ALUULA airframe and lighter double-ripstop canopy. The standard VT uses a size-specific Dacron construction and triple-ripstop canopy.

Delivery & Shipping Policy
Dispatch
- Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days after payment is received.

UK Delivery
- UK orders are shipped using FedEx and Royal Mail.

Receiving Your Order
When your order arrives, please:
- Check the package for any visible damage before accepting your delivery.
- Ensure all items listed in your order are included.

- Keep all packaging until you are satisfied your order is complete and in good condition.

Refund & Returns Policy
Surface 2 Air Sports
Returns
You must notify Surface 2 Air Sports of your intent to return an item within 14 days of the order date.
To initiate a return, please email Info@s2as.com within this 14-day period. Once we receive your request, we will email you return instructions and a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
Approved returns must be shipped back to us within 30 days of the order date.
Return eligibility
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
- A valid Return Authorisation (RA) number must be included with your return.
Return shipping
All returns must be sent back to us at the buyer’s cost. We do not provide prepaid return labels, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Returns requested after 14 days from the order date, items shipped after 30 days from the order date, or returns sent without an RA number may not be accepted.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. A 2% refund processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Price Match
At Surface 2 Air Sports (S2AS), we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between the best price and the best service. If you find the same product cheaper elsewhere from an authorised UK retailer we’ll match it.
