Technical Features

Streamlined lightweight construction

Made from state-of-the-art lightweight materials for optimal performance-to-weight ratio. The high-strength sail is made from a triple ripstop 34g/m² TX-Light and the leading edge is covered with a highly durable 44g/m² DLX+ fabric that protects against abrasion. All SOUL components are designed for maximum performance on any terrain. The integrated automatic drainage system is embedded in the construction. Dirt, water and small objects inside the kite automatically slide from the center of the kite to the wingtips and exit through two openings on the trailing edge of the wingtips. The streamlined construction ensures that the kite remains agile and extremely maneuverable while maintaining its peak performance.

bridle lines with high tensile strength

The configuration of the bridle lines is crucial for the stability, performance and easy control of the kite. A well-designed bridle system balances the forces exerted on the structure and precisely controls its behavior. We use Dyneema for the A-plane and brake, and Kevlar lines for B and C-planes. The lines are coated with a UV-resistant layer. The protective coating extends the life of the lines and reduces wear and tear caused by sunlight. The thoughtful use of materials ensures that the lines retain their length and strength over time. This minimizes the need for frequent adjustments by re-trimming or replacing individual wear parts.

Lines have been stretched over all air inlets to ensure optimal airflow to the leading edge. The air inlet lines hold the rigid foils on the nose in position and prevent the inlets from deforming. The kite fills with air more quickly. When you launch the foil kite, you gain control over the entire wingspan more quickly. The kite flies further towards the edge of the wind window even when overpowered; the leading edge dents later and the depower works more efficiently.

Chord Cut Billow

The Chord Cut Billow - or CCB Cut for short - is an advanced aerodynamic feature that optimizes airflow over the leading edge of our foil kites. It consists of a special precision cut that changes the profile of the leading edge so that the airflow is more even. These cuts, known as "billows", are strategically positioned to direct the airflow in a way that reduces turbulence and lessens the effects of surface irregularities. This ensures minimal drag, improved maneuverability and reduced backstall.

Performance Tuner

The Performance Tuner is a knot ladder integrated into the C-Pulley line to change the camber of the kite. By moving the Z-Main Line you affect the steering forces and performance of the kite. Shortening it increases light wind performance and steering/holding forces. Lengthening it does the opposite by reducing brake line tension and steering/holding forces. By adjusting the Performance Tuner for power delivery and depowering you can optimize the potential of the kite and adjust it based on wind conditions and personal preference. If a change is made it should be symmetrical.

Wide wind spectrum

The SOUL is designed to perform exceptionally well in a wide range of wind conditions. Whether in light breezes or strong gusts, it maintains its shape, responsiveness and efficiency. The enormous depower minimizes risks and ensures that you can push your limits with complete confidence, even in changing weather conditions and on different terrain. The kite has a sophisticated bridle system and refined profile contours to ensure a consistently smooth flight.

Optimized Camber

Our knowledge from the Olympic Formula Kite Class flows directly into our freeride designs. The camber of the profile is refined to ensure optimal balance between lift, drag and control. The reflex profile sections are crucial for controlling and depowering a foil kite and ensure stability at low angles of attack and full acceleration. The counter camber pushes the trailing edge down and prevents front stall. This ensures smooth and predictable performance, even at high speeds.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Yes. You can return your order within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging and tags intact.

How do I start a return?

Email info@s2as.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll reply with return instructions.

How long do I have to return an item?

Let us know if you would like to return your item within 14 days. Once you’ve notified us (within 14 days), you have a further 14 days to return the item, so 28 days in total.

Do I need to pay for return postage?

Yes. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Will I get a refund for the original delivery cost?

Original delivery costs are non-refundable for unwanted items. Faulty or incorrect items will receive a full refund including original delivery costs.

What if my item is faulty or damaged?

Please contact us as soon as possible with photos. If confirmed faulty, we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed within 5 working days of us receiving and inspecting the return. Banks may take additional time to show the funds.

What if my return is lost in transit?

Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until received by us. We recommend using a tracked service.
