What is WakeSwap?

WAKESWAP IS A wakeboard exchange program, a service that allows wakeboarders to trade in their used wakeboards for new up to date wakeboards. This program is offered is and is designed to provide a cost-effective and sustainable way for wakeboarders to upgrade their gear while reducing waste.

The process for participating in the WakeSwap program is as follows:

1, You must have bought your wakeboard from S2AS.
2, You Wakeboard must be under 12 months old.
3, You must have your original Proof of purchase from S2AS.
4, Wakeboards must have no major damage or repairs.
5, Any price difference between what you paid and the price of the new Wakeboard will be added to the Wakeswap fee.

Example of how WakeSwap works:

Tom buys a Liquid Force Butterstick Pro Wakeboard for £589 he loves the board but after 11 months decides he would like a new wakeboard so he uses Wakeswap and goes for a Slingshot Solo Wakeboard at £599.
This means Tom has to pay the wakeswap fee of £150 plus the difference in price between what he paid for his wakeboard and the one he is buying this difference is £10.
So Tom needs to pay a total of £150 + £10 = £160 to change his wakeboard for a brand new Slingshot Solo. 
This helps Tom keep his Wakeboarding equipment up to date for a little as possible.

Generally, participants will need to bring in their used wakeboard to us at S2AS or it can be sent to us via a delivery company. where it will be assessed for its condition. We will then confirm if it's eligible for Wakeswap and start the process for you.

Wakeboard exchange programs offer a number of benefits for wakeboarders. Well lets work it out and do some simple maths, As we mentioned above Tom spent a total of £160 to upgrade his old wakeboard for a brand new more expensive one. if Tom was to buy a that same wakeboard it would have cost him £599 thats a saving of £439 not bad at all.
