Only had about 5 hours on this board so far, and those have been spent at an indoor slope, but first impressions are that I made a good choice. I am at a point where my 60 years of age, my 20 years coal mining / heavy industry and a lifetime of crashing dirt bikes is catching up with me so I wanted a board that was a bit kinder to me in turns but still stable at 40mph plus. I was originally making enquiries about a different brand of board but S2AS recommended this board based on my requirements and were patient enough to spend a fair amount of time doing so via their chat window and a couple of phone calls. I received the board the day after I ordered it and went straight to Tamworth Snowdome for a couple of hours. Having spent the last 5 years riding a Burton Process Off Axis I was expecting to have a bit of a learning curve adjusting to the 3BT shape but in all honesty there was no curve, it felt easier than the Burton from the off. If your getting this board and not able to break it in before you go away I'd advise getting it re waxed. During that 2 hour session it felt a little slow and at the end of it the base was quite white on the contact points so I re waxed it before going back to Tamworth for another 3 hour session. This time I had the Nidecker Supermatics that S2AS supplied a week after the board (another review) and a fresh wax job. This time the board was faster and even better responding and still shiney at the end of the session.
