S2AS KITESURFING HOLIDAY, Sal, Cape Verde
( 7- 14 March 2026)

Embark on an exhilarating kitesurfing holiday with S2AS this March 2026!

Join S2AS this February for an unforgettable kitesurfing trip to Sal, Cape Verde — where powerful Atlantic winds, turquoise water, and island vibes combine for the ultimate winter escape.

Whether you're a beginner looking to progress fast or a seasoned rider chasing world-class wave and freestyle conditions, this trip offers the perfect blend of performance and paradise. With consistent wind and warm weather all week, this is the February session you’ve been waiting for.

We travel to the picturesque Lo Stagnone in Sicily. Renowned for its stunning vistas and exceptional kitesurfing conditions, Sicily stands out as a top destination for kitesurfing enthusiasts across Europe. Offering a vast shallow flat water lagoon that caters to riders of all skill levels.

We’re heading to the island of Sal, the kiteboarding capital of Cape Verde. Located just off the West African coast, Sal is famous for its reliable trade winds, tropical climate, and stunning beach breaks. From buttery flat water lagoons to world-class wave spots, there’s something here for every style of rider — all surrounded by crystal-clear Atlantic waters and golden sand beaches.

We only choose the world's best kitesurf destinations at the best time of the year for the best wind conditions:

At Surface2Air, we always choose the best kite spots at the best time of year, and February in Cape Verde is prime. With daily cross-offshore winds between 18–25 knots, you’ll be riding in boardshorts or a shorty all day long. Air temperatures hover around 24°C–28°C, and the water stays warm enough for relaxed, all-day sessions under the African sun.

Off the water, Sal offers a laid-back island lifestyle, colourful local culture, and fresh seafood everywhere you turn. Think beach bars, sunset sessions, and live Creole music under the stars. Whether you’re kicking back after a long day on the water or exploring the island’s unique volcanic landscapes, this trip is equal parts adventure and escape.

Sal’s variety of kite spots makes it ideal for both progression and expression. Beginners can learn safely in the flat-water bay of Kite Beach, while more advanced riders can head out to the waves of Ponta Preta or explore downwinders along the coast. You’ll have the freedom and guidance to ride exactly how you want.
