WHO ARE MYSTIC, WHAT WE SELL AND WHY WE SELL IT?

WHO MYSTIC ARE:

A group of watersports people who loved everything in the extreme wanted to go after strong winds and bigger waves.. As passionate as they were about watersports they felt the existing equipment on the market was holding them back. So they decided to break out on their own and fill the gap. They set out to create kitesurfing and windsurfing equipment that was durable. Being able to support a rider in extreme conditions allowing them to go harder, faster and higher.

This was 2002, and the beginning of the Mystic journey.

Mystic aims to create a range of equipment that embraces modern technologies and techniques, which in combination with riders' natural physical skills would allow them to reach and even surpass their maximum potential. They try to create products that push riders further, allowing them to break all the existing boundaries and take the sport to a totally new level.

Mystic has become an innovative trailblazer in the kitesurfing, windsurfing and wakeboarding worlds. By combining durability, quality, innovation and technology Mystic has sealed its reputation as a force to be recognised on an international scale.

WHY WE SELL MYSTIC:

One of the main reasons we support, promote and sell Mystic is the fact they recognise that producing gear impacts our planet. To take that next step in their most recent project being that they're using eco-friendly shipping materials, reducing plastic outputs in packaging, using biodegradable wetsuit bags and incorporating organic cotton into their production line is awesome.

The fact that they are striving towards a more sustainable world which we can live in harmony with the environment, while still being able to do the sports we love is a very special thing and more big brands should look at incorporating this into their products aswell. Mystic describe it as just a small step, but the great thing is that it's definitely directed towards a future thats more sustainable.

Another reason we sell Mystic would be because of an element they have started to use in their higher range wetsuits called "Yamamoto 39 Limestone". Yamamoto neoprene is a limestone rubber with amazing flexibility and great thermal properties, but without all of the impactful stuff that you get with conventional wetsuits. With Yamamoto your wetsuit will not get loose or weigh more over time. Because of the stretch capacity of this neoprene, there is less pressure on the seams which makes your wetsuit last longer which is a massive bonus feature to a wetsuit.

20 Years of Mystic

Back when Mystic got started in 2002, they had no idea what they were in for. They were young––wrecking their bodies on the water, and realised they'd need proper gear to match their ambition. So, they put their hearts and souls into Mystic to make that happen. Over the last 20 years, Mystic’s evolved to become bigger than they ever dreamed. Time to pay tribute to the journey that they've been on, and to everybody who made the brand what it is today.

MYSTIC WETSUITS:

Mystic's goal was to create a suit that looks great, but feels even better. That's why they upgraded the Voltt using 3 different thicknesses instead of 2; a warmer suit with a lot more stretch. The days of using the cold as an excuse are over. Built in with a Flaremesh and Fox Fleece lining making it a quick dry and also keeping you warmer than ever!

MATERIALS:

- Yamamoto 39: An eco friendly neoprene, that is lighter, softer and more durable than traditional petroleum based neoprenes, it's high stretch ratio also also you to be more comfortable than ever before whilst riding.

- Flaremesh +: The inner lining is carbon backed with a more geometrical pattern and a warm high pile that even channels water away from the fabrics to reduce drying times.

 - Fox Fleece: Big loops in the fabric create a high pile lining that holds air or extra insulation. It holds less water enhancing the fast-drying abilities of the fabric. With its superior stretch performance in all directions its super suitable for every panel in all Mystic wetsuits.

The Mystic Supreme Hood is the leader of the Mystic hood tribe. Made with Knitflex, M-Flex 2.0 and Glued Blibd Stitched this wetsuit hood is perfect for easy movement, flexibility and keeping water out!

Built-in with Wind Mesh side panels and Flaremesh this wetsuit hood offers premium protection against wind chill and keeps your head and face nice and warm.

This wetsuit hood is built in with an elastic adjuster for a perfect fit and a Double neck to stop water getting in and heat getting out!

- Flaremesh: The Flaremesh quick dry lining is a special development for Mystic and offers a super soft feeling. The fabric is made with carbon to keep you warmer than ever, even in the chillier of sessions.

- Knitflex: The Knitflex lining offers the highest stretch ratio in all directions, it has a more luxury look and soft touch feeling.
