THE BRAND

The Mystic journey started in 2002. A group of kiteboarders and windsurfers who loved everything in the extreme wanted to go after strong winds and bigger waves in harsher conditions. Passionate as they were about kiteboarding and windsurfing they felt that the majority of the existing equipment on the market was holding them back, so they decided to break out on their own and fill the gap. They set out to create kite and windsurfing equipment that was durable and able to support a rider in extreme conditions allowing the rider to go harder, faster, higher.

At Mystic we now have a team of 40 people working for the brand, creating products for everyone who is as passionate about the sports as themselves.

BRAND HQ

Mystic HQ is based in the Netherlands in a little town called Katwijk, close to the Dutch coast. Perfectly located relatively close to the harbour of Rotterdam and very central in the business district of the Netherlands. At Mystic, we pay close attention to all the small details. All components of all processes are performed at the head office. From designing the new clothing collection, the latest technical developments, making all media / marketing communications, shipping our goods all over the world, everything is controlled from our headquarters in Katwijk.

Products are tested by our development team here in the Netherlands, no better place to test the warmth of a new wetsuit than in the cold North Sea. Also, our products are tested by our team riders all over the world. Some team riders are very closely involved in creating new products. Their knowledge on what they need on the water and the technical knowledge of the designers combined make the great products we have…

WHAT’S NEW

We have lots of new exciting things going on for 2016. We bring a whole new clothing collection, t for on the water, on the beach and everything in between. New colours, new fits, perfect for the coming summer season. As for the technical items, we have a few surprises in stock this year. We will bring a completely new harness into the market, the Legend. A super lightweight harness made out of one layer and special material for an extremely comfort feel. Next to that our wetsuit range has been updated with lots of new colours and designs for the summer. Then we have many new signature products, developed together with our team riders. Also, we bring a top notch SUP collection, very technically designed and specially engineered to fit different weather types.

LEGEND HARNESS

Two years in the making, the Legend is a single layer harness all new to the Mystic line up. At its core is an entirely new and unique Mystic Concept – the Flymould. Think of a traditional harness, then throw away all of the various layers and combine them into one single piece. MAJESTIC HARNESS

The Majestic harness is Mystic’s flagship, multi-use harness – the best in their range of waist harnesses. It’s loaded with excellent features and the latest technologies, including a memory foam back panel, for extra comfort and a personal t. The pre-shaped nature of the harness grips your waist, providing the ultimate hold and unbeatable support. The special Bruna Kajiya version of the Diva harness is the ultimate harness for female riders. VOLTAGE 2/2 FULLSUIT

The voltage series has been developed for riders who wants to wear a suit with a clean and sophisticated look. It’s packed with a lot of nice features and the tone on tone colour combination makes it a beautiful wetsuit. MYSTIC PONCHO

The new Mystic poncho is made from terry fabric and has a large hood and wide arm openings. It’s water absorbent and features a small front pocket and the embroidered Mystic logo. It comes in lots of separate colorways.
