2017 CABRINHA KITES- WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

The 2017 Kitesurf season is now upon us. Cabrinha have released their anticipated 2017 Kites, and we’ve had a first hand look at them. Today, we’ll be running you through the tech specs and differences between the old and the new.

2017 Cabrinha FX:�

Everyone’s favourite Freestyle/Crossover kite is back for 2017, with a revamped design. This year, Cabrinha have decided to go for a new colour scheme, with some pretty bold and exciting additions to the range. The FX is the go-to kite for unhooked freestyle tricks and mad kite-loops. It’s upwind ability, long with it’s turning speed and boosting make it the perfect kite for the intermediate to advanced rider, looking for more of an oomph to their riding style.

2017 Cabrinha Radar:

It’s ability to perform in the low-end make it the go-to kite for any lightwind session. The Contra will certainly lighten up the windless days, it’s freeride capabilities make it the perfect kite for light-wind sessions and for freeriding.

2017 Cabrinha Chaos:

2017-Cabrinha-ChaosThe Chaos kite is the high end technically performing kite in Cabrinha’s range, with many rider’s such as James Boulders choosing the kite for it’s freestyle design. The 6 Line Chaos 1X bar is a must, as it’s the only bar the kite will work with. This 6-Line Design uses the 2 extra lines as an arc support system, making the kite much more stable and powerful during kiteloops. All these features make it the kite for the professional rider who wants explosive pop and more height, and competition level tricks.
