Engineered with pure passion the Core Ripper 4 has a complete new outline and imporved rocker helping it become a surfboard that is an easy ride due to it's user friendly shape, classic flex and plyuretahen and glass contruction which has been a tried and tested construction technique over the years this board has featured in the line.
A thruster fin set up, with swallow tail to make the board super stable throughout any water conditions. The Ripper 4 has increased width volune through the centre where your feet will be positioned to make an allround fun board. Due to the reduced fin toe in, which has been reduced by 4mm the Ripper 4 now has more drived and with the shallow tail adds a lot of bite.

- EZ Shortboard Outline: An added 28mm in the width between the straps, volume shifted forward and reduced thicknees to compensate for the additional volume. The Core Ripper offersimproved drive and stability
- Progressive Rocker: A 3 stage rocker with a fast flat middle, increased lift in the nose and mellower on the tail results in increased speed in the flats and improves carves when engaging the tail
- Mini Swallow Tail: Increased surface area adds left, speed and grip in the corners
- Active Foam Core: Core only use the best closed cell PU foam that prevents waterlogging even when punctured and allows the board to be precisely shaped for superior flex
- Classic Glass Coat: Multi-layer fiberglass and resin process delivers precisely tuned rails, a classic surf feel and a softer less flexible ride with less bounce
- Double Stringer: A laminated wood stringer is inlaid along the full length of the board to manage longitudinal flex and give the Ripper its signature feel, a second wood stringer is then laid horizontally to accept strap inserts
- Tucked Under Rails: The hand shaped rails feature a new thinner, sharper, “tucked under” rail design that releases water better yet maintains the classic smooth and forgiving ride you’d expect from a glass board. The central 60/40 tucked under rail transitions seamlessly into a hard tail rail to provide greater maneuverability.
- Single Concave: Improves lift and adds grip to the turns
- Strap Ready: Fitted with V4A inserts to recieve optional Core straps in your favourite stance position
- Blunt Nose: Core file it off because, in the long run, our trademark blunt nose is safer, more durable, and just plain cool. The Ripper fits in board bags better, travels better and, hopefully, won’t leave a mark.
- Thruster Fin Setup: The Ripper continues with the classic three fin thruster setup for a looser feel. Thrusters are well known to turn tighter than quads and release easier for cleaner moves off the lip.
- Original FCS II Fin Setup: Core carries over the Original FCS II fin box system on the Ripper 3. FCS II is the keyless fin system that enables 2-second fin changes without tools. It’s wise to stick with the global standard in fin boxes for the day you lose a fin on your favourite reef. Because it’s backward compatible (in that it still retains grub screws to secure any old FCS fin you or your friends may have), you will be back on the water in no time.
