About the 20Y Anniversary board
This special anniversary edition of The Goliath celebrates 20 years of Bataleon. On the top sheet you find all 400 top sheet graphics from the last 20 years. On the base are the 400 base graphics. Check your local shop for a copy of the 20Y anniversary book and own a piece of Bataleon history. Don’t forget to check out the matching Bataleon 20Y bindings!
BATALEON'S 20Y SNOWBOARD FEATURES
3DT
At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the board's desired riding style.
SUPERTUBES
Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight, and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.
SIDEKICK
SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the side base uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge
Bataleon 20Y Construction
- Tri-Ax Lamination - Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.
- Ultra-light core - A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.
- Hyper glide S - Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.
- Shock walls sidewall - This is our Urethane infused sidewall technology. ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.
- D.R.S.T SuperTubes - Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.
- Carbon Stringers - Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.
About the Bataleon 20Y Bindings
This special anniversary edition of the Blaster celebrates 20 years of Bataleon. The sleek black and white colourway, together with the target logo on the heel cup, is a nod to Bataleon's first-ever binding released back in 2006. These bindings also match perfectly with the Special Edition Bataleon 20Y snowboard.
The 20 Y bindings come with a medium-stiff flex rating of 6 and give you supreme comfort and stability all over the mountain. They're super-tweakable too, with an adjustable base to help you centre your boot perfectly, canted and adjustable padding offering three FootPad positions, and Kink Ladders™ that allow you to choose a high or low connection point for your ankle strap.
What's more, getting in and out is oh-so-easy thanks to the Fast Entry Pop Ladders™ that pop open when released, ensuring you'll spend more time riding and less time messing about with your bindings.
