What size snowboard do I need? 

Getting the right size snowboard is important, it is based on weight, shoe size, and height. Going too big will be cumbersome to use and difficult to maneuver whereas going too small will be twitchy and difficult to ride. Unfortunately, there is no true formula, as it is different for each board and rider. Give us a call on 01202 738448 for any advice or questions.

What type of snowboard do I need? 

There are many types of snowboards to choose from, if you want to ride park, you will need a true twin with a softer flex, for an all-mountain rider, you need a directional twin with medium flex. For a powder board or carving board you are looking for a directional board with a stiffer flex.  Give us a call on 01202 738448 for any advice or questions.

How do I maintain my snowboard?

You will need to wax your board every 4 or 5 days riding depending on the conditions. And then a full service every couple of weeks of riding including sharpening the rails. Also to prevent rust you will need to dry your snowboard and store it in a dry place. 

What's the difference between camber and rocker profiles?

• Camber: Offers better edge control and stability.
• Rocker: Easier maneuverability, especially in powder.
• Hybrid: Combines elements of both for versatility.
