The 2025 CAPiTA Mercury is back and ready to be your daily driver to all things snowboarding. Known for its all mountain versatility and incredible power underfoot, it is no wonder why CAPiTA team rider and style master Kevin Backstrom makes it his board of choice every year. You can be sure to have complete control over your snowboard in any condition, whether it's hitting natural kickers on resort to floating effortlessly in powder. Taking a revolutionary freeride camber profile and applying it to a super lightweight and high performance core, along with engineered carbon and environmentally responsible construction, CAPiTA have created a snowboard that will take you to new planets while still looking after ours. The snowboarding universe is ever-changing and the limits are always being pushed, so CAPiTA have developed a board that will break the surly bonds of gravity, destroy your ideas about what a snowboard is capable of, and take you to the final frontier.
- Base graphics/colours are random
The Resort V2 Profile gives you the best of both worlds. Raised camber through the inserts to retain high speed edge hold, rocker at the contact points to reduce catch and enhance float in powder, and flat kick tip and tail for faster, more aggressive transitions.
Flex: 6.5/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Stiff enough to plow through the powder and hold a strong edge, but soft enough to be forgiving when you need it.
Shape: Directional
This board has a setback stance and slightly directional shape, giving you better control going forwards but still allowing you to ride switch with ease.
New Age Progressive
This board features a progressive sidecut which incorporates a reverse sidecut arc in the middle of the board. Due to a reduced effective edge as a result of hybrid camber shapes, this reverse camber arc adds an additional point of contact in the centre of the board (aka Death Grip), allowing you to retain better control through turns.
Core: Hover Core
The Hover Core is so light it essentially floats across the snow. Thin cut, low-density, Paulownia strips are combined with 7mm Poplar beams to create an ultralight and intensive response in the board.
Amplitex V-Tech Amplifier - Amplitex is a natural Flax fibre woven with carbon strands, giving you the reactive energy of carbon with the lightweight dampening properties of Flax. These two fibres are placed in 4 x 25mm strips, working in unison to reinforce the board while flexing uniformly and remaining light, durable, and extra snappy.
HolySheet Fibreglass + Magic Bean Resin - HolySheet glass has a higher glass to weight ratio than normal fibreglass, giving you more stiffness with lower weight than a traditional layup. This is impregnated with a high performance, environmentally responsible, plant based resin that provides a powerful and dynamic ride that's better for the planet.
Base: Hyperdrive Base
This exclusively formulated sintered base is designed for the most depraved speed junkies, bar none. Ultra high molecular weight, ultra high density polyethylene, custom engineered with super secret special additives. That's a one way ticket to a face meltingly fast ride.

- Items ordered after 2 pm Friday or over a weekend will be despatched Monday.
- Items despatched on Friday are for delivery the following week.
- Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be despatched the next working day.

- Shipping to most EU countries is calculated at £20 and can take around 5-7 working days
- Shipping outside the EU is calculated at £35 and can take around 5-12 working days
- S2AS reserve the right to amend shipping costs based upon the volumetric weight of the parcel and destination country
- Please be aware that you may be liable for import taxes when you receive the item in your destination, this may be different for different countries (as a guide the UK VAT rate is 20%) you must understand and budget for any import taxes that you may have to pay. Surface 2 Air Sports is not responsible for these charges and if they are due you should be contacted by your customs office.
- Unfortunately, if S2AS send an item out and it is then rejected by the customer due to these import charges you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to S2AS minus the total shipping and returns costs.
- Exchange rates vary constantly, therefore, we cannot guarantee the price of an item in any other currency except GBP, all other currencies are approximate. The money taken from your account will be in GPB, you must check with your bank as to how it will come out of your account.

All orders are shipped within 3 to 4 days delivery Monday – Friday (depending on stock). If no one is home a courier will leave details of the next delivery attempt and the contact number of the local depot. If you would like your order to be “left safe” on your property should no one be home, please specify details in the comments as you check out. RETURNS
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you have 14 days from the purchase date to make us aware you wish to cancel the order and a further 14 days to return the item(s) to S2AS in their original condition with the packaging and tags intact for a full refund.
Please bear in mind items that are "not wanted" or ordered in customer error (i.e. wrong size/colour) will be not be refunded postage costs.
