If you're the sort of rider that lives life on the edge (toe or heel), then the Bataleon Carver is for you! The 2024 Bataleon Carver is a directional arrow with a lightning-fast response. Designed to be ridden on an edge that holds with rail-like precision. Typically wider than your average carving board, the Carver is made to be very versatile with a tapered shape, sidecut, and setback stance meaning this board is optimized for backseat steering. It is everything you want if you enjoy dropping your favourite off-piste line in the mornings and bombing down some fresh corduroy in the afternoons.
Features

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the board's desired riding style.
Sidekick
SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the side base uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.
Supertubes
Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight, and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.
Construction
- Tri-Ax Lamination - Bataleon's three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.
- Light core - 50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.
- D.R.S.T Super Tubes - Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.
- Hyperglide S - Bataleon's standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.
- Carbon Stringers - Bataleon's tried and tested carbon layups, deploying them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.
- Solid walls sidewall - Bataleon's tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex-to-strength ratio.

- Shipping to most EU countries is calculated at £15 and can take around 5-7 working days
- Shipping outside the EU is calculated at £35 and can take around 5-12 working days
- S2AS reserve the right to amend shipping costs based upon the volumetric weight of the parcel and destination country
- Please be aware that you may be liable for import taxes when you receive the item in your destination, this may be different for different countries (as a guide the UK VAT rate is 20%) you must understand and budget for any import taxes that you may have to pay. Surface 2 Air Sports is not responsible for these charges and if they are due you should be contacted by your customs office.
- Unfortunately, if S2AS send an item out and it is then rejected by the customer due to these import charges you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to S2AS minus the total shipping and returns costs.
- Exchange rates vary constantly, therefore, we cannot guarantee the price of an item in any other currency except GBP, all other currencies are approximate. The money taken from your account will be in GPB, you must check with your bank as to how it will come out of your account.

If you would like your order to be “left safe” on your property should no one be home, please specify details in the comments as you check out.
